❋ RV Campgrounds and National Park Stays

The RV afforded us an opprtunity to travel and stay where we were living for the duration of the trip. We rented vehicles to get around in the larger parks once we were hooked up.

We found hiking trails and opportunities with the parks to get up close and personal with nature, beyond the normal trails.

❋ Covid Friendly Staycation

We had a young family and wanted to do something with the kids to explore the historic Mississippi River road through the State of Iowa

❋ Local sites that are easy to overlook

We embraced all that our local tourism sites had to offer! Some even had hidden gems, like the Earthmoving Legacy Center, which had just opened.

Water parks, history, nature, small towens, and big cities. Trains, boats, tractors and cars. There was a little something for everyone in this gem of a trip.
